If the kitchen table is where your family gathers, join Chef Helen Lampkin in the HKS kitchen for a cozy, family-friendly cooking class inspired by comforting classics that will make everyone’s plate a happy one. The class will begin with a fresh, chef-prepared house salad for your appetizer. From there, you’ll dive into making several hands-on dishes sure to bring everyone to the table – rich, homemade marinara, a bubbly baked pasta sea shell casserole, and crisp herbed garlic toast. To end on a sweet note, Chef Helen will share her soft caramels for a simple, satisfying finish. Great for cooks of all levels, this class will teach you how to serve up warm, welcoming dishes for your mealtime gatherings. Recipes will be provided. Tickets are priced per person.

MEET THE CHEF:
Helen Lampkin, woman of faith, devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, lives an inspired “no ordinary” life based on the words found in Colossians 3:23 – “do all things wholeheartedly to the Lord.” This inspiration is at the heart of all she does and has led her to become an entrepreneur (founder of My Brother’s Salsa), artist, adventurous cook, recipe developer/writer, food stylist, and blogger.
