You will start the evening with a delicious prawn cocktail with arugula and fennel microgreen salad as the appetizer. Then, dive into the main course where you'll learn to make skin-on chicken breast served alongside a delightful linguine with pea shoot pesto featuring fresh microgreens for added vibrancy and flavor. Complementing the meal is a radish microgreen, sunflower, tomato, and cucumber salad, offering a refreshing balance of flavors and textures. Whether you're a novice or seasoned cook, join us to master new techniques, explore the use of microgreens, and create a memorable dining experience with these elegant and delicious dishes. MEET THE CHEF:
Katie Helams, owner of Grow NWA, is a UK native who has over 20 years’ experience in the culinary field. After completing her training in the UK she came to Big Cedar Lodge in Branson, Missouri, as a culinary intern. After that, she worked in the UK and Asia to further her culinary knowledge. Since moving to NWA with her family she has turned her hand to indoor farming. She currently owns and operates a small microgreen farm in Bentonville and gets immense joy in sharing them with others. This allows her to stay connected to her culinary roots.
