Chef Helen Lampkin is at it again, returning to the HKS Kitchen with a menu filled to the brim, flavor-packed dishes for you to cook up in class. Make plans to join us for a delicious evening that starts off with a deliciously sweet and savory apple gouda crostini appetizer. Once class begins, you’ll make two hearty chowders – a creamy New England-style clam chowder and a bold, satisfying green chile chicken chowder. These comforting bowls of goodness are sure to fill you up, but you’ll want to save room for the dessert you’ll be making in class – a warm, spiced apple bread pudding, too. If you love to cozy up to comfort food, grab a spoon! This is a class for you. Recipes will be provided. Tickets are priced per person.

MEET THE CHEF:
Helen Lampkin, woman of faith, devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, lives an inspired “no ordinary” life based on the words found in Colossians 3:23 – “do all things wholeheartedly to the Lord.” This inspiration is at the heart of all she does and has led her to become an entrepreneur (founder of My Brother’s Salsa), artist, adventurous cook, recipe developer/writer, food stylist, and blogger.
