with Helen Lampkin, founder of My Brother's Salsa and Helen's Table
Get ready for a sweet and sticky adventure in this hands-on caramel-making class with Chef Helen Lampkin in the HKS Kitchen. Your daytime confectionary culinary adventure will begin with a crisp apple walnut salad with cider vinaigrette, featuring bright, seasonal flavors. Then, you’ll delve into the art of caramel making. In addition to cooking up your own batch of caramel from scratch, you’ll also learn how to shape and wrap soft caramels. Plus, you’ll whip up a crowd-pleasing caramel apple party dip. Whether you're a candy lover or just curious about confectionery, this class is a delicious way to spend an afternoon learning, creating, and indulging. The hardest part will be deciding if you are keeping them for yourself or gifting them to others. Recipes will be provided. Tickets are priced per person.
