Get into the holiday spirit with Chef Helen Lampkin in the HKS Kitchen as she hosts a festive tart-baking class perfect for sweet and savory lovers alike! In this late morning class, you’ll be greeted by a beautiful chef-prepared charcuterie board before the baking begins. During class, you’ll focus on creating two stunning tarts using pre-made doughs. The first tart, a mini pumpkin tart, with a drizzling of rich, chef-prepared agave caramel sauce and topped with crunchy pistachios. The second tart you’ll make will be a golden, flaky apple tart made with puff pastry. Both of these delicious tarts are sure to wow at any of your holiday gatherings. MEET THE CHEF:
Helen Lampkin, woman of faith, devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, lives an inspired “no ordinary” life based on the words found in Colossians 3:23 – “do all things wholeheartedly to the Lord.” This inspiration is at the heart of all she does and has led her to become an entrepreneur (founder of My Brother’s Salsa), artist, adventurous cook, recipe developer/writer, food stylist, and blogger.
