with Helen Lampkin, founder of My Brother's Salsa and Helen's Table
Ready for another vibrant, flavor-packed cooking class? Then join Chef Helen Lampkin in the HKS Kitchen for this class featuring a menu filled with fresh takes on fan favorites – salsa and tacos. Inspired by the bold tastes of Mexico, you’ll kick things off with a refreshing michelada, the Mexican version of the bloody mary, and a snack of roasted tomato salsa served with warm, buttered corn tortillas to set the tone. Once you dive into the hands-on recipes, you’ll learn to make homemade flour tortillas that you will then enjoy with Chef Helen’s roasted corn and heirloom bean salsa. For the main course, you’ll make hearty roasted wild mushroom tacos topped with a rich, melty green chile queso. And you’ll cap off the evening with Chef Helen’s margarita cookies, bringing a citrusy twist to dessert. Forget taco Tuesday. Come to Fall Salsa and Taco Feast Wednesday instead! Recipes will be provided. Tickets are priced per person.
*All class ticket sales are final. No refunds or credit transfers to other classes are available. If you purchased a ticket and are unable to attend, please contact us to check our waitlist.*
