Step into a HKS kitchen cooking class where sweet and savory summer flavors shine! As Chef Helen welcomes you to class, you’ll kick things off with a refreshing cherry limeade spritzer and a flaky herbed tomato tart served with seasoned arugula – an appetizer bursting with garden-fresh goodness. Then, you’ll dive into your first hands-on recipe to create a beautiful sour cherry tart with a decorative crust that you’ll bake fresh in class. Then, you’ll prepare a mini pecan tart with a buttery shortbread crust to take home and bake, so you can fill your own kitchen with the smells of sweet baked goodness. Recipes included. Tickets are priced per person.

MEET THE CHEF:
Helen Lampkin, woman of faith, devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, lives an inspired “no ordinary” life based on the words found in Colossians 3:23 – “do all things wholeheartedly to the Lord.” This inspiration is at the heart of all she does and has led her to become an entrepreneur (founder of My Brother’s Salsa), artist, adventurous cook, recipe developer/writer, food stylist, and blogger.
