Join Addie in the HKS Kitchen for a flavor-packed cooking class that celebrates the best of summer on a plate! We’ll begin with a warm welcome and a slice of savory summer tomato pie, then roll into a hands-on session where you’ll craft a zesty tequila lime chicken salad sandwich on kaiser rolls—perfectly balanced and picnic-ready. Next, we’ll mix up a refreshing melon salad tossed in a bright honey lime mint dressing, ideal for warm evenings and light summer meals. To end on a sweet note, you’ll learn how to make a luscious blueberry banana cream cheese pie, the ultimate creamy, fruity finale. Come hungry and leave inspired! Recipes will be included. Tickets are priced per person.

MEET THE CHEF:

Addie Hayes is the kitchen manager at The Odd Soul kitchen in Downtown Springdale. She has significant experience in catering and curating specialty menus for small groups. She loves cocktails and food pairings, and all things flavor! Born and raised in the south, she was influenced by so many good cooks throughout her life.  Addie operates Fatty Addie’s on the side. You can find her at big market pop-ups or smaller pop-ups in partnership with local stores. She handles special orders and is always happy to chat about what someone will need for bridal showers, birthday parties, or just fun, friendly get-togethers. She also dabbles in gluten-free and vegan baking. When she’s not cooking, she enjoys spending time outside in her garden, hanging out with friends, or visiting family. Addie certainly knows how to have a good time!
