with Helen Lampkin, founder of My Brother's Salsa and Helen's Table
Join Helen in the HKS kitchen for a cooking class that brings together some your favorite flavors of the South and Southwest. To set the tone, you’ll kick things off with a creamy, spicy green chile pimento cheese appetizer and a refreshing peach margarita. Then, dive right into the main event – crisp chicken with green chile and cheese – paired with two irresistible sides, rich garlic mashed potatoes and collard greens with tangy pickled green chiles. And be sure to save room for dessert – roasted peaches with spiced crema. This hands-on class is for anyone who loves comfort food from the South and the Southwest. Recipes will be provided. Tickets are priced per person.
*All class ticket sales are final. No refunds or credit transfers to other classes are available. If you purchased a ticket and are unable to attend, please contact us to check our waitlist.*
