Come visit the HKS Kitchen for Chef Kevin Quinn's elegant seasonal cooking class featuring bright flavors, fresh produce, and classic techniques with a modern twist. Chef's menu will transport you to a charming French summer soirée, beginning with a refreshing St. Germain Spritz and an appetizer of Escargot Bourguignon. For the main course, you'll learn how to prepare perfectly seared Sweet-Tart Duck Breast finished with a luscious Fresh Cherry Sauce. Alongside the main course, you’ll create a vibrant Watermelon, Arugula, and Feta Salad to enjoy with a classic French Potato Salad made by Chef that pairs beautifully with the richness of the duck. And you'll be treated to a Wine Pairing from The Wine Shop at Honeycomb. To finish, you'll make an indulgent, rustic Cherry Clafoutis, a beloved French dessert that showcases ripe summer fruit in a delicate custard-like batter. Throughout the class, you’ll explore balancing sweet and savory flavors while mastering dishes well-suited for effortless entertaining. Recipes will be provided. Tickets are priced per person. Must be 21+ to attend.

MEET THE CHEF
Chef Quinn is originally from New Jersey and has a LOT of experience in cooking. He went to the Culinary Institute of America in New York and then worked in several well-known restaurants, including The Barr Mansion and the Gotham City Restaurant Group. He has a passion for teaching and has taught at Le Cordon Bleu and Escoffier. Outside of work, he mentors high school students in cooking competitions and enjoys golfing, relaxing, and traveling with his family.
