with Helen Lampkin, founder of My Brother's Salsa and Helen's Table
Get ready for a delicious journey to El Salvador in this hands-on pupusa-making class with Helen! You'll be welcomed with crispy plantain chips and a bright, zesty mango salsa to start the evening on a tropical note. Then, roll up your sleeves as we dive into making traditional bean and cheese pupusas from scratch. Complete with pupusas with curtido, El Salvador’s signature tangy cabbage slaw and a savory, house-made pupusa salsa. To sweeten things up, we'll finish with a classic Salvadoran quesadilla, a rich and lightly sweet pound cake that’s perfect with coffee or on its own. It’s a flavorful celebration of culture, comfort, and community. Recipes will be provided. Tickets are priced per person.
*All class ticket sales are final. No refunds or credit transfers to other classes are available. If you purchased a ticket and are unable to attend, please contact us to check our waitlist.*
