If your plate could use a little update, this class celebrating the art of unforgettable side dishes is for you! Chef Addie is coming to the HKS Kitchen to cook up a storm of mouthwatering Southern side dishes. To start the evening off, you’ll enjoy a hearty appetizer of chicken fried steak fingers smothered in savory gravy. Then you’ll learn to prepare a spread of flavorful sides including creamed corn, sweet potato and carrot mash with rich maple red-eye gravy, and roasted green beans tossed with shallots, lemon, herbs, and breadcrumbs. After you’ve cooked up a plate full of sides, you’ll scoot on to a sweeter dish – a rustic strawberry galette topped with a pretzel crumble and whipped cream cheese. Come spend the evening enjoying a meal that’s indulgent, satisfying, and full of fresh and bold, home-style flavors. Recipes will be provided. Tickets are priced per person.
