with Katie Helams owner of Grow NWA
Katie is returning to the HKS kitchen for a baking class dedicated to charming British treats! As class begins, you’ll be treated to a mini bakewell tart, a delightful bite-sized version of the traditional almond and raspberry favorite, perfect to whet your appetite. Then you’ll dive into your first hands-on recipe to make purely indulgent millionaire’s shortbread, a decadent layered biscuit with a buttery shortbread base, rich caramel center, and smooth chocolate topping. Finally, you’ll learn how to make elegant Viennese whirls, known for their delicate, buttery texture and beautiful piped design, filled with jam and vanilla buttercream. Get ready for an afternoon of whisking, piping, and baking, all inspired by the best of British biscuits!
*All class ticket sales are final. No refunds or credit transfers to other classes are available. If you purchased a ticket and are unable to attend, please contact us to check our waitlist.*
