Chef Bernard will be back in the HKS kitchen to showcase some top of the line housewares under the Zwilling umbrella such as; Henckel Staub, Demeyere, Miyabi and Ballarini. During this class we will cook 3 dishes and go over several Zwilling Kitchen essentials from cutlery to cookware to tools and electrics. You will learn how to choose your cookware for specific dishes. The class menu will be seared branzino over parsnip cream served with sauteed spinach and mushrooms. Next, sous-vide cooked bacon-wrapped pork loin, bathed in a delectable mushroom vermouth sauce with a subtle undertone of dark chocolate. Accompanying this savory delight are creamy mashed potatoes and air fryer roasted cauliflower and carrots. To top it off, ricotta cheesecake that's as heavenly as it sounds, adorned with a fall apple, pear and cranberry compote that captures the essence of the season! To top it all off guests will leave with a free Zwilling pump & save bag set!! Recipes will be provided. Tickets are priced per person.

MEET THE CHEF:

Bernard Janssen currently serves as Executive Chef and Culinary Program Manager for ZWILLING J.A. Henckels. Additionally Bernard launched the first US ZWILLING Culinary Studio at the company headquarters in Pleasantville, New York, offering cooking classes, product trainings and private events. 

Originally from The Netherlands, Bernard has over twenty years of culinary experience working  as Executive Chef in restaurants and cooking schools internationally. He travelled Europe to host trainings and demos for the Zwilling Group. Bernard’s cooking style specializes in inventive flavor combinations with a flair for creating beautiful plate presentations. Using this expertise, he often writes original recipes for retail partners and travels across the country for product trainings, trade shows, retail and cooking events supporting all premium brands falling under the ZWILLING J.A. Henckels umbrella like; Staub, Demeyere, Miyabi and Ballarini.
