Must be 21+ to attend.
Experience the warmth and simplicity of Scandinavian cooking in the HKS Kitchen with Chef Will Ross in a hands-on cooking class that celebrates the region's rich culinary heritage. Rooted in Nordic traditions of preserving, fresh seafood, and seasonal ingredients, you'll begin the evening with flavorful bites of Chef’s Smoked Whitefish Rillettes appetizer. Then, you’ll focus on making the main course–classic Fish Cakes with a Spicy Mustard Dill Crème–along with a traditional side dish of Danish Cucumber and Potato Salad to enjoy with a delightful Wine Pairing from The Wine Shop at Honeycomb. And your evening will end with Danish Baklava, a crisp, flaky dessert filled with a delicious combination of apple, walnut, and spices that offers a creative twist on classic pastry traditions. In this class, you'll learn techniques and flavor combinations that capture the essence of Scandinavian home cooking while inspiring new ways to enjoy Nordic flavors in your own kitchen. Recipes will be provided. Tickets are priced per person.
*All class ticket sales are final. No refunds or credit transfers to other classes are available. If you purchase a ticket and are unable to attend, please contact us to check our waitlist.*
MEET THE CHEF
Will Ross began his adventures in food and beverage in 1986 as a grill cook at Jack in the Box in Dallas, TX.
