Chef Seth Barber is returning to the HKS Kitchen with a light and elegant seasonal menu that celebrates fresh flavors and refined techniques. You’ll begin with chef’s Whipped Goat Cheese Crostinis topped with Sweet-and-Tangy Apricot Mostarda, an Italian condiment that delivers the perfect balance of creamy and bright. For the main course, you’ll learn the art of preparing delicate White Fish en Papillote, sealing in moisture and flavor with aromatic ingredients for a beautifully tender result. To complement your fish dish, you’ll create two vibrant sides – a Toasted Almond Orzo for a nutty, satisfying bite, and a lively Peach and Ginger Relish that adds a refreshing, slightly spicy finish. This menu is all about simple sophistication and letting quality ingredients shine. Recipes will be provided. Tickets are priced per person.

MEET THE CHEF

Seth's classes draw inspiration from NWA's diverse food culture. With an associate degree in culinary arts from Brightwater: A Center for the Study of Food and degrees in agricultural sciences as well as liberal arts, he focuses on making cooking enjoyable and accessible.

Seth emphasizes the connection between what we cook and the community around us, cultivating a renewed appreciation for ingredients sourced close to home and the farmers who cultivate them. Join him to discover how to create delicious meals that taste good and encourage a stronger connection to the regional food community.

Beyond his passion for food, Seth is a devoted husband, sharing his life and love with his wife Emma.
