Need a cozy yet elevated menu that blends Southern comfort with bold, modern flavors? Then you’ll want to join Chef Helen Lampkin for this class in the HKS Kitchen. You’ll begin the evening with a chef-prepared Biscuit Board brimming with Biscuits, Jam, Whipped Butter, Crispy Bacon, and Pimento Cheese and a refreshing glass of Sweet Enough Tea to start the experience on a deliciously indulgent note. Then you’ll move on to the hands-on portion of the class where Chef Helen will show you how to make a must-have main course – perfectly cooked Pan-Seared Lamb Chops – paired with a vibrant Tomatillo Chimichurri alongside a creamy Roast Carrot Risotto that highlights rich technique and seasonal flavor. To finish the evening, Chef will serve decadent Coconut Tarts drizzled with Bourbon Caramel Sauce, giving your evening a sweet and satisfying finish. Recipes will be provided. Tickets are priced per person.

MEET THE CHEF:
Helen Lampkin, woman of faith, devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, lives an inspired “no ordinary” life based on the words found in Colossians 3:23 – “do all things wholeheartedly to the Lord.” This inspiration is at the heart of all she does and has led her to become an entrepreneur (founder of My Brother’s Salsa), artist, adventurous cook, recipe developer/writer, food stylist, and blogger.
