with Chef Amanda Arafat of Amanda Makes
The culinary traditions of the Middle East are greatly influenced by the Mediterranean climate; and Europe, Africa, and Asia through the trade routes that have been used for centuries. Join Chef Amanda in our HKS Kitchen as she brings you on a culinary journey to enjoy an authentic Middle Eastern breakfast. Guests will greeted with fresh labneh served with za'atar & olive oil (labneh is a soft Middle Eastern cheese made from yogurt). In the hands on portion of the class, participants will follow instruction to make shakshuka - a savory dish featuring poached eggs and simmered tomatoes with spices. Next the class will make ful mudammas, a dish of fava beans, garlic, and lemon. Recipes will be provided. Tickets are priced per person.
*All class ticket sales are final. No refunds or credit transfers to other classes are available.*
