Then, dive into the hands-on portion where you’ll learn to create savory black-eyed pea cakes accompanied by a zesty spicy tomato jam bursting with flavor! Next, you’ll craft delicious black-eyed pea and roasted carrot tostadas, combining earthy and sweet flavors for a unique twist on traditional tostadas. This class promises to be a fun and delicious experience that will elevate your culinary skills and inspire your New Year's gathering! Recipes will be included. Tickets are priced per person. MEET THE CHEF:
Helen Lampkin, woman of faith, devoted wife, mother and grandmother, lives an inspired “no ordinary” life based on the words found in Colossians 3:23 – “do all things wholeheartedly to the Lord.” This inspiration is at the heart of all she does and has led her to become an entrepreneur (founder of My Brother’s Salsa), artist, adventurous cook, recipe developer/writer, food stylist, and blogger.
