Discover the vibrant flavors of Indian cuisine with Chef Shaan Choppala in the HKS Kitchen. In this class, you’ll get tips and learn techniques for making classic Indian cuisine. You’ll start off with an appetizer of crispy, golden pakora, a spiced carrot and potato fritter. Then, get ready to cook! Chef Shaan will be sharing his recipes for several different dishes with you. During the evening, you’ll make a rich and creamy butter chicken and a fragrant, comforting vegetable curry to serve over fluffy white rice and a fresh and tangy kuchambar salad packed with cucumber and tomatoes. You’ll experience an aromatic and authentic Indian meal in every delicious, satisfying bite. And  the cuisine in this class is also gluten free. Recipes will be provided. Tickets are priced per person.

MEET THE CHEF:

My name is Shaan Choppala, I’m the founder of Cajindian Cuisine. I grew up eating homemade South Indian curry, and I started my business to make it possible for anyone to experience authentic Indian food at home. My sauce has 15 spices and herbs, is gluten free, and has the right balance of heat. I can’t wait to share this experience with you!
