Indulge in a unique culinary adventure as worlds collide in perfect harmony with our Asian Seafood Fusion cooking class with Chef Amanda in our HKS Kitchen. Learn to combine Asian flavors with seafood for exquisite results. Guests will enjoy a delectable dish of scallop wontons with soy butter upon arrival. In the hands-on portion, participants will follow Chef Amanda's instructions to create sticky shrimp in an amazing glaze. Then build sticky crispy shrimp steam bao buns from beginning to end! Chef Amanda will also serve matcha panna cotta with a strawberry sauce for dessert! From hands-on cooking to gaining understanding of flavor profiles, this class will bring out your inner chef. Recipes will be provided. Tickets are priced per person.

MEET THE CHEF:

Amanda Arafat is a Palestinian-American recipe-developer, chef, cottage baker, and organizer. As owner and baker of Amanda Makes she serves baked goods inspired by the seasons, nostalgia, and her upbringing in the Middle East. And as co-founder of Big Gay Market, she has found purpose in creating opportunities for advancement and support-building within the local LGBTQ+ community.

Amanda lives in Fayetteville with her partner Heath and their beloved cats.
