Join Chef David Prewitt as he returns to the HKS Kitchen with another Blue Zone Buffet class that features cuisine from areas of the world known for longevity and vibrant living. This class explores the wholesome, flavor-packed dishes inspired by Loma Linda, California. You’ll enjoy a taste of coastal California with a fresh fish taco appetizer before cooking hands-on dishes like salmon cakes with asparagus and lemon herb sauce and sautéed spinach with yogurt and dukkah, a seasoning blend of toasted nuts, seeds, and spices. Throughout the evening, your experience will be elevated with a guided tasting of three wines to complement the featured dishes on the menu. To end on a sweet note, Chef David will treat you to olive oil bundt cake—a simple yet elegant dessert that embodies Blue Zone cooking. Come treat yourself to an evening of delicious and healthy cuisine. Recipes will be provided. Tickets are priced per person. Must be 21+ to attend.
MEET THE CHEF:
David Prewett grew up in Little Rock, Arkansas. Having developed a love for cooking from his mom at the age of five, he has been diving into the culinary landscape ever since. He graduated with his master’s degree in nutrition. Specializing in scratch cooking and a variety of cuisines with emphasis in Italian, Asian, and, of course, Southern comfort food. He looks forward to taking you on an exciting culinary adventure full of laughter, amazing food, and great conversation. Bon appétit!
