Join Chef Kevin for a vibrant and flavorful cooking class that highlights the rich and diverse tastes of Korean cuisine. Upon arrival, Chef Kevin will have prepared an appetizer of scallion pancakes with a BBQ pork kabob. Our main event will feature kalbi short ribs, marinated in a savory-sweet blend of soy sauce, garlic, and sesame, then grilled to perfection. You will also make two classic Korean banchan, which are small side dishes typically served with a meal. You’ll learn how to create marinated bean sprout banchan, crisp and refreshing with a zesty dressing, and marinated cucumber banchan, which offers a cool, tangy contrast. To complete your meal, there will be steamed rice, the perfect accompaniment to these flavorful dishes. This class is a wonderful opportunity to explore Korean culinary traditions and enhance your cooking repertoire. Recipes will be provided. Tickets are priced per person.

MEET THE CHEF:

Chef Quinn is originally from New Jersey and has A LOT of experience in cooking. He went to the Culinary Institute of America in New York and then worked in several well known restaurants, including The Barr Mansion, and the Gotham City Restaurant Group. He has a passion for teaching and has taught at Le Cordon Bleu and Escoffier. Outside of work, he mentors high school students in cooking competitions and enjoys golfing, relaxing, and traveling with his family.
