Let your palate go on an Asian adventure with Chef Amanda! This class offers the perfect hands-on experience for noodle lovers. Learn to cook iconic Asian flavors for family dishes, and acquire oodles of culinary skills. Chef Amanda will prepare kakiage tempura fritters with Tetsuya sauce for a small bite at the beginning of class.  Participants will then learn to make knife cut Asian noodles from scratch.  Then create a roasted shiitake mushroom sauce to enjoy with the noodles.  Top of the night with Chef Amanda's famous salted miso chocolate chip cookies (recipe is a culinary secret on this one). So grab your chopsticks and don't miss out on this delicious opportunity!  All other recipes will be provided. Tickets are priced per person.

MEET THE CHEF:

Amanda Arafat is a Palestinian-American recipe-developer, chef, cottage baker, and organizer. As owner and baker of Amanda Makes she serves baked goods inspired by the seasons, nostalgia, and her upbringing in the Middle East. And as co-founder of Big Gay Market, she has found purpose in creating opportunities for advancement and support-building within the local LGBTQ+ community.

Amanda lives in Fayetteville with her partner Heath and their beloved cats.
