Fishing for a fun way to spend a Friday night? Come meet Helen in the HKS Kitchen for another installment of Fish on Friday, a cooking class featuring a flavorful fish dish that’s perfect for laid-back evenings any night of the week. Ease into your class with a refreshing lagerita – a beer-infused margarita – paired with a creamy street corn salsa served with crispy chips. Then learn to transform sauteed halibut into a delicious main course with pickled avocado and tomato salad served with sides of seasoned arugula and roasted fingerling potatoes. For dessert, chef will be serving mini margarita cupcakes so you can rest assured the evening will end on a sweet note. Here’s your chance to reel in your fish cookery skills. Recipes will be provided. Tickets are priced per person.

MEET THE CHEF:
Helen Lampkin, woman of faith, devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, lives an inspired “no ordinary” life based on the words found in Colossians 3:23 – “do all things wholeheartedly to the Lord.” This inspiration is at the heart of all she does and has led her to become an entrepreneur (founder of My Brother’s Salsa), artist, adventurous cook, recipe developer/writer, food stylist, and blogger.
