Ryan will guide participants through four thoughtfully curated pairings, featuring standout selections from The Wine Shop, each expertly matched with one of our favorite gourmet foods from the retail shop including sweet and savory bites.
Throughout the class, you’ll learn how to properly taste wine—from sight and aroma to structure and finish—while Ryan breaks down the techniques behind successful pairings and explains why each combination works. Whether you’re new to wine or looking to deepen your appreciation, this experience is designed to be both educational and delicious.

MEET THE SOMMELIER:
With over 20 years in the hospitality industry from operating restaurants in nearly every position in the kitchen, behind the bar, and on the floor to running a private chef business, working in retail wine sales, food/beverage consulting, and selling wine for various distributors across several markets, Ryan joined Honeycomb Kitchen Shop in November of 2025 as a Wine Specialist to offer his expertise to the community at large.
