Baker Kailey Harmon is returning to the HKS Kitchen for an evening designed to make your sourdough-loving heart skip a beat. This hands-on pizza-making class will start off with a delicious appetizer of warm cheese focaccia served with marinara, pesto, and herbed olive oil for dipping. Then, you’ll roll up your sleeves and use a chef-provided sourdough crust to learn the basics of sourdough pizza making. And you’ll also learn how to craft a house-made red sauce before layering toppings like mozzarella, basil, sausage, and pepperoni onto your heart-shaped crust. Once we pop your pizza into our ovens during class, you will be guided through the steps of preparing a take-home dough so you can make it fresh and just the way you love it in your very own oven. If you’re ready to think beyond the sourdough loaf, this class will definitely have you rolling in the pizza dough. Recipes will be provided. Tickets are priced per person.

MEET THE BAKER:

Kailey Harmon is a Northwest Arkansas native, she began her sourdough journey during a tough season of life and has created the perfect, low stress recipe for any and everyone who wants to make delicious bread from their own home. "I've always had this calling to be a host and have others come into my home. The idea of being able to feed someone or make them a warm meal provides connection and fellowship, something so many desperately need." Kailey owns a micro bakery called Five Arrow Bread Co. and loves baking for Northwest Arkansas and the surrounding areas.
