Join us in the HKS Kitchen for an evening focused on making deliciously unique appetizers to spice up your holiday hosting. Your evening will start with a festive bruschetta before it kicks into full gear. Throughout the evening you’ll learn to make four tasty appetizers, including a flavorful Five Minute Crack Dip, a vibrant layered hummus board, zesty muffuletta pinwheels packed with classic New Orleans flavors, and a rich, briny dirty martini dip. By evening’s end, you’ll have all the crowd-pleasing bites you need to create an irresistible spread for your holiday gatherings. Recipes will be provided. Tickets are priced per person.

MEET THE CHEF:
Born and raised in New Orleans, Chef Maudie Schmitt has an extensive restaurant heritage and learned to cook from the many great chefs in her own lively family. She taught special education for 23 years until deciding to open a restaurant. Cafe Rue Orleans opened in 2001 and has been blessed with much success in the NWA area. Chef Maudie recently competed on Food Network's Supermarket Stakeout where she was a runner up!
