Savor a scrumptious Lemon Curd Cheesecake, while learning how to make Champagne Poached Pears with Mixed Greens and Citrus Vinaigrette; an elegant Eggs en Cocotte with Mushrooms, Leeks and Pancetta; and a show-stopping Salmon en Croute in the hands on portion of class. MEET THE CHEF:
Gretchen’s culinary journey encompasses a diverse range of experiences, from her role as a Chef Instructor, to a culinary immersion in Tuscany, and extensive studies at the International Culinary Arts and Sciences Institute in Chesterland, Ohio. In 2004 Gretchen transitioned to Northwest Arkansas, initially pursuing a career in Information Technology, where her exposure to global cultures during travel reignited her passion for culinary arts.
During Gretchen’s travels, she discovered the joy of creating unique culinary experiences, inspiring her to share this passion through teaching and volunteer work. Beyond the kitchen, Gretchen enjoys reading cookbooks, relishing food with friends, and exploring the Razorback Greenway
