Instructions for Meringue Powder

Use as you would in your regular royal icing recipe or follow the recipe below

Ingredients:
sugar, dextrose, dried egg whites (with sodium lauryl sulfate) cream of tartar, algin, salt, sodium hexametaphosphate, calcium sulfate, locust bean gum, xantham gum, artificial flavor
Royal Icing: mix 1/4 cup meringue powder with 1/2 cup cold water, beat until peaks form. Add 1 pound sifted powdered sugar, beat to desired consistency. To keep icing soft, add 3oz glycerine.
Uses: 2 teaspoons meringue powder + 2 tablespoons water = 1 egg white.
