with Helen Lampkin, founder of My Brother's Salsa and Helen's Table
It’s time to roll into the HKS Kitchen with Chef Helen Lampkin for a hands-on culinary experience where you'll learn to make authentic flour tortillas completely from scratch—the foundation of a delicious Mexican-inspired menu. In this skill-focused class, you'll start with an appetizer of Oven-Crisp Taquitos served with fresh Guacamole. Then, Chef Helen will teach you the techniques for mixing, kneading, rolling, and cooking soft, flavorful tortillas. Using your Fresh-Made Flour Tortillas, you’ll put them to the taste test by creating Savory Verde Chicken Enchiladas with a Sweet and Spicy Black Bean Salad that balances smoky, sweet, and zesty flavors. And you’ll finish the meal by making irresistible Cinnamon Buñuelos dusted with cinnamon sugar for dessert. Designed for home cooks of all skill levels, this class combines essential tortilla-making skills with a complete menu of crowd-pleasing dishes you can recreate with confidence in your own kitchen. Recipes will be provided. Tickets are priced per person.
*All class ticket sales are final. No refunds or credit transfers to other classes are available. If you purchase a ticket and are unable to attend, please contact us to check our waitlist.*
