Super Bowl Game Day Appetizers and Drinks
Three Easy Game Day Appetizers
for the Super Bowl
With the Kansas City Chiefs headed to the Super Bowl, we recently hosted the Channel 5 "Around the Corner" team in The Kitchen for a mini cooking class on Super Bowl watch party foods and drinks. Our co-owner, Dana, introduced Zac, Jo, and Tiffany to three different easy-to-prepare appetizers and one drink to go along with everything. The best part of it all is we mostly used Arkansas-Made gourmet food products for the dishes.

Kitchen Tools
RECIPE: SEASONED OYSTER CRACKERS
Ingredients
1 package of oyster crackers
3/4 cup vegetable or canola oil
Directions
01
In a large mixing bowl, add all of the oyster crackers. We used a red Mason Cash S24 Mixing Bowl.
02
In a separate small mixing bowl combine the oil and the French Herbed Dijon Seasoning, stir together well until fully combined.
03
Pour the oil and spice mixture into the bowl with the crackers.
04
Stir very well, being sure to scrape to bottom of the bowl to evenly distribute the oil mixture.
05
Continue to stir well every 5 minutes for 20 minutes until all of the crackers are evenly coated and the oil is starting to absorb.
06
Transfer the crackers to an airtight container or resealable bag. For best results: let sit overnight before eating. Enjoy!
Directions
01
Preheat oven to 400.
02
Mix butter, cheddar cheese, paprika, salt and flour well.
03
Wrap in plastic wrap and chill for 30 min.
04
Place a rounded teaspoon of dough and form into muffin pan, or form into small cookies. A mini-muffin pan works best - we used the USA Pan Mini Muffin Pan.
05
Make a deep impression in each, using your thumb, mini tart tamper, or other device. Then fill with Deb's gourmet hot pepper jelly.
06
Bake for 10 minutes and then let cool 5-10 min. Arrange on a platter and serve.
Directions
01
Cook your frozen chicken bites according to the directions on the package.
02
Place the cooked chicken bites in a large mixing bowl and coat with the BBQ sauce.
03
Fully mix the chicken with the BBQ sauce to your desire.
04
Arrange on a platter and serve. We used the Football Griller Platter to serve.
Directions
01
Make the seasoned salt for rimming the glass. Mix together salt and delta dust spice blend in a wide, shallow dish to cover the bottom. Dip the rims of two pint glasses in the honey then dip in the salt mixture to coat. Fill the glasses with ice and set them aside.
02
Make the Bloody Beer. Combine the bloody mary mix, beer, lime juice, and honey in a pitcher and mix to combine. Pour into the prepared glasses and serve.
