Join us for another Farm to Fork class and discover the flavor of the often misunderstood tomatillo. Tomatillos are similar to a green tomato and have a bright tangy flavor and firm texture you are sure to love. Start the night with a Spicy Tomatillo Jam with cream cheese and crackers as an appetizer. Then get your hands dirty as Helen guides you through making two delectable dishes: Summertime Chie Verde, and Fried Green Tomatillos with a scrumptious Remoulade sauce. Recipes will be provided. Tickets are priced per person.

MEET THE CHEF:

Helen Lampkin, woman of faith, devoted wife, mother and grandmother, lives an inspired “no ordinary” life based on the words found in Colossians 3:23 – “do all things wholeheartedly to the Lord.” This inspiration is at the heart of all she does and has led her to become an entrepreneur (founder of My Brother’s Salsa), artist, adventurous cook, recipe developer/writer, food stylist, and blogger.  You can follow Helen on instagram @helenstable
