with Chef Maudie Schmitt of Cafe Rue Orleans
Add a little spice to your life with Maudie Schmitt in this hands on Cajun gumbo cooking class. Chef Maudie will instruct you step-by-step through creating the perfect chicken and sausage gumbo and potato salad. Her secret for the gumbo? "It's all in the roux!" she says. Find out how she creates these delicious dishes that have been warming the bellies of her restaurant patrons for years. Chef Maudie will also be discussing Cajun ingredients and seasonings so you can recreate this authentic Cajun dish in your very own kitchen. Will be served with rice and her famous bread pudding for dessert. Recipes will be provided (except for the bread pudding, that's a secret!). Tickets are priced per person.
*All class ticket sales are final. No refunds or credit transfers to other classes are available.*
