Join us in the HKS Kitchen with Angela as she brings us back to basics in order to conquer making and decorating cupcakes so they turn out gorgeous every time.  In this fully hands-on class, participants will learn to make vanilla cupcakes from scratch as well as a lemon curd in order to fill the cupcakes.  These items will go home with you to enjoy once they have cooled and set.  Next in class, guests will work with pre-made strawberry cupcakes, strawberry filling, and sweet buttercream frosting to learn the techniques of filling and decorating cupcakes.  Angela will lead you step by step, discuss different tools and techniques, and answer all your baking questions.  (Each participant will have 1/2 dozen cupcakes).  Small bites served upon arrival. Tickets are priced per person. Recipes will be provided.

MEET THE BAKER

Angela Korbe is a self-taught baker specializing in custom cakes, cookies, and macarons. She is a self-proclaimed pie lady and a hobby sourdough bread baker as well. When not in the kitchen, you’ll find her outdoors with her family, teaching ceramics at the local community center, or in her garden. 
She is the owner and baker of Wildflour’s Kitchen. She started her business in 2020 out of a combination of an art degree and a passion for baking. What started as a sourdough bread business has bloomed into highly detailed baked goods for special events.
