Dive into the flavorful world of salmon with Chef Kevin Quinn in the HKS Kitchen for a cooking class that features this foodie-favorite finned ingredient. You’ll begin the evening with a delicate house-cured gravlax, a thinly sliced Scandinavian cured salmon served with a traditional mustard dill toasted pumpernickel and paired with a refreshing blackberry mojito. Then, chef will share tips and tricks for cooking salmon flawlessly as he leads you through the art of making pan-seared salmon and a few delicious pairings – herbaceous compound butter and classic glazed Vichy carrots. No great meal is complete without dessert, so save room for a sweet treat of blueberry cobbler vanilla ice cream. If you’re looking for know-how on cooking salmon, this is the class for you. Recipes will be provided. Tickets are priced per person.

MEET THE CHEF:
Chef Kevin Quinn is originally from New Jersey and has a LOT of experience in cooking. He went to the Culinary Institute of America in New York and then worked in several well-known restaurants, including The Barr Mansion and the Gotham City Restaurant Group. He has a passion for teaching and has taught at Le Cordon Bleu and Escoffier. Outside of work, he mentors high school students in cooking competitions and enjoys golfing, relaxing, and traveling with his family.
