with Helen Lampkin, Founder of My Brother's Salsa & Helen's Table

Back by popular demand is home chef Helen Lampkin’s Classic Caramel Class! You will be welcomed with Helen’s classic salted caramels to taste and participate in wrapping these jewels of goodness.  In the hands-on portion of the class, each team will prepare a batch of delicious caramels from scratch with the option to add in pumpkin spice or pepitas. Helen will teach participants how to pull from the batch to have a “caramel sauce” before it completes the caramelization process. Each guest will take home a portion of the caramels for Halloween. Then to end the evening with more sweet caramel goodness, the HKS staff will serve a caramel coffee sundae with cinnamon crisps. This is the perfect class to learn how to make your very own DIY gifts for the holiday.  Recipes will be provided.  Tickets are priced per person.

MEET THE CHEF:

Helen Lampkin, woman of faith, devoted wife, mother and grandmother, lives an inspired “no ordinary” life based on the words found in Colossians 3:23 – “do all things wholeheartedly to the Lord.” This inspiration is at the heart of all she does and has led her to become an entrepreneur (founder of My Brother’s Salsa), artist, adventurous cook, recipe developer/writer, food stylist, and blogger.  You can follow Helen on Instagram @helenstable
